Monday was fun. I was able to hang out with a few friends from college that I haven't seen in person for nearly half a year. Time flies by so quickly but it was so easy to find a flow of conversation because we had a lot to catch up on. We ate at Patxi's Chicago Pizza on Hayes St. in San Francisco. I liked it quite a bit; the pizza wasn't too overwhelming and each ingredient had a nice flavor that was about to come through.

Afterward, we went to Smitten which was nearby and I got the classic vanilla which was tasty and fun to watch being made. We really are living in the future.

365 Photography projects were always cool to me but I could never get into it because I always wanted to start at the beginning of the year and I usually missed it. A Little Bit of Christmas

I only have photos from two out of the five parties I attended for the past three days. I was just too exhausted and full to take more which I slightly regret. Anywhere here is a slight peak at my holiday celebrations.

On Thursday, Perry, Christine, Ashley and I decorated Ashley's tree! It was a lot of fun. Afterward we played Just Dance. I'm addicted.

Christmas Gifts From Afar!

My friend Tritia, from Southern California, sent me me a cute tin of delicious cookies and candies! I shared quite a few with my family and they agreed. I love my friends! So thankful.

Allen Stone & Melissa Cancio - Unaware

So last Tuesday after the Allen Stone concert, a few friends and I got to witness an amazing acoustic performance with Allen Stone and Melissa Cancio, my friend. It was awesome that he was willing to jam with her after the show at around midnight. If I was him,  I would have probably wanted to do would be to get back to the hotel and sleep as soon as possible.

It's my brother's birthday! We went out to celebrate at Dragon Terrace. They treated us to a free fried banana and ice cream dessert. Yum. We were also celebrating him getting two jobs at nearby dental offices.

Halloween Weekend Round-Up

So, my dog destroyed my glasses, Perry and Linda visited on Halloween, and I recycled some old Towel Costumes. Overall, a good weekend.

It was my Godson/cousin's eight birthday yesterday! My aunt invited us over for a small dinner.

Katana-Ya Ramen, El Cerrito, CA

My favorite place for beef sukiyaki is at Katana-Ya Ramen in El Cerrito, CA. My dad loves Japanese food so when it's his weekend to take us out, this is where we usually end up, if not here we go to Dragon Terrace in Hercules.

Anyway, I love the beef sukiyaki here because it's not too sweet, it's a large portion, and they have the option of having it over a hot flame. The service is a bit slow and inattentive but this soup is so good. They're sushi is alright; it seems the portions are getting smaller.

Where A Kid Can Be A Kid

Today, my nieces came over so we went to Chuck E. Cheese's. It was really fun! The one in Pinole is huge and the games are all new...though I recommend bringing hand wipes or something because kids are dirty. It was fun playing all the games I remember from my childhood: Jurassic Park, the classic basketball and baseball games, air hockey, etc. but there were quite a bit of new fun editions like an Initial D race simulator and Guitar Hero. All games were pretty cheap to play: just one coin for a full cycle.

I think now that I'm older, I enjoy it more because it's less about getting enough tickets for prizes (that I now realize are probably just 99 cents somewhere else) and more about just enjoying the game.
