Monday was fun. I was able to hang out with a few friends from college that I haven't seen in person for nearly half a year. Time flies by so quickly but it was so easy to find a flow of conversation because we had a lot to catch up on. We ate at Patxi's Chicago Pizza on Hayes St. in San Francisco. I liked it quite a bit; the pizza wasn't too overwhelming and each ingredient had a nice flavor that was about to come through.

Afterward, we went to Smitten which was nearby and I got the classic vanilla which was tasty and fun to watch being made. We really are living in the future.

Too Much Fun

I had a lot of fun yesterday. Maybe a little too much fun. For lunch I shared a sandwich with my sister at the Cheesesteak Shop with a side of steak fries and battered mushrooms.

For the evening, I went to the city with my friend Perry to visit our friend Hetty and join her and three other friends for the weekly food truck meet-up, Off The Grid. Sooo much yummy food, not enough stomach space. I got an Asian Asada and Wu ~taco (beef and pork taco, respecitvely) at Kung Fu Taco. My friend Perry got a Chicken Tikka Masala burrito at Curry Up Now. And lastly, I got Sisig Nachos at Senior Sisig.

Afterward, we headed to Hetty's place and had a little fun playing Truth or Drink. ;)

Fresca Restaurant: Fillmore, San Francisco, CA

Since I graduated not to long ago, I don't have the benefit of seeing my friends from college whenever I can. It's a lot more work and usually more expensive but I think with the right company it's always worth it in the end. Today, I was lucky enough to head into San Francisco and visit my friend Jacky. She yelped some places and we ended up at Fresca on Fillmore.

Fresca's ceviche was really delicious. We also got ourselves sangria, the lomo saltado (not pictured) and the vegetarian risotto. The risotto was a bit salty and the saltado was good but not amazing. The steak in it was really tender, though. The portions are big which is nice if you spend about $20 a plate. We shared but couldn't even finish everything! It was heartbreaking - I hate wasting food but I don't like leftovers.
